No tomb has been found in the great Pyramids. There is zero decorations inside, unlike actual tombs of pharaohs that is full from floor to ceiling. There are zero writing or hieroglyphs on walls, again unlike actual tombs. Please people, look into this for yourself. Ask questions. Don’t let someone tell u a history which has been recorded from people with their own agendas.
John, These crash courses are very good and I would like to use them in my Middle School SS classes but unfortunately every once in awhile you throw in an inappropriate word or innuendo. Do you provide "clean" versions?
honestly Akhenaten was not as radical as everyone claims he was. He was influenced by his father Amenhotep III who was already introducing worship of the aten, and also from his time in Heliopolis in which where he studied. I understand the change of capitol is seen as 'radical' but many pharaohs before him were changing the capitol. but due to the limited amount of evidence on his reign i understand how ideas/opinions of Akhenaten are exaggerated "it has proved impossible to write a history of Akhenatens reign which does not embrace an element of historical fiction."- Wilson. All that saying, i love this neat summary of Egypt's history. thanks!
I wish the ancient religion of Egypt came back.... well it has and it is called Kemetic Orthodoxy - Egyptians please ditch your Islamic brutal nonsense responsible for 70+ million deaths since it was formed. Perhaps more. Revert back to your much more peaceful religion. Not saying it was perfect but it was absolutely better. Damn caliphates gave you Islam. Islam is not your true heritage. Ahh
The world and middle east would be much more peaceful without the Abraham-ic religions
I have my Ancient Egypt Unit starting in World History right now but his stuff is getting pretty interesting. On top of Sabaton, who's songs all tell historical war stuff and this class, I'm gonna become a history Fanatic by the end of college
John, dearest, you weren't funny in high school. And you sure are NOT funny at all now. Yet, you're making a load of cash... I'm jealous! And, bwy, Raoul Meyers was grotesquely incompetent as a history teacher! So glad he found some other way to make $$$ :)
