Firstly I would like to say I still plan on using the stock wheels for offroad riding, DON'T WORRY! I've been wanting a supermoto since i've pretty much started riding motorcycles but the biggest push to get one was the amount of fun I had riding out in Texas for Supermoto Sunday. So thanks to my buddy Cole at TheMoto.Store I was able to get one of the first sets of 450L super moto wheels put on my bike.
Not the exact ones I wanted but I think the look is starting to grow on me. After the ole reveal footage I take you guys along the first ride the next morning before work where we test out the most important difference these wheels would have....Wheelies! More then happy with my choice and can't wait to continue to build this bike more and ride it to it's fullest!

Harley guy was a douche. How hard is it to give a smile and a head nod? When I ride around my area I get the wave from the sport bike guys the naked bike guys the sumo guys the ADV guys and hell I even get the wave from the metric cruiser guys. But the Harley guys, AH HELL NO! They just take a quick look to see if I'm on a Harley then as soon as they realize I'm not they stare strait ahead like they didn't see me wave with a I just ate shit look on their face. I cant stand them so I just ignore them now.
Guestion? Stupidity actually! I started riding at ten! RM 50. I want to get back into it again at age 50! In between I’ve ridin a lot of bikes. I used to get yelled at for ridding my race bike rm50 on street cause of gearing! What makes it different to turn this dirt bike into a street bike? Cause of it being a four stroke? Or was that all just a bad memory?
Really should have just got a crf450r with 50 hp and made it street legal like most people building supermoto bikes do. Double the hp for double the fun. 25hp is something you see from a 2006 crf250 trail bike.
Cooki_monstre lol a sprocket change will ether make it so it barely does 70-80 or other way and maybe doing 110 lol still shit on highway has no torque once your at that speed a Kia is gonna pass you lol welcome to the single cylinder life
With the right sprocket highways speed is fine. Also, when you say 600miles do relize that the bike needs oil based on hours. When you ride in dirt at 20 kmh average, 600miles is rediculous and Mabye try pushing it a bit to get something realistic. Dirt bike is probably the same, but it's hour based so who knows
Cooki_monstre uh huh what do you think a single cylinder is doing on the highway? Idk redlining the whole time lol if the 450L needs a oil change every 600 miles I can only wonder about the R model needs motonosity has rode his less than 10 times since he built it and its died on him three times for one thing or another lol
+Bryan Smith crf450r will last plenty long enough if your not holding it at redline before the start of a race like motocross guys do. That's often when they blow the engine, and the main reason they need to be rebuilt. I know people who own these bikes ride all the time and never have issues
