Thanks so much for your interest in my videos and my brand "TheSalonGuy". It means the world to me! Watch celebrity Red Carpet Interviews, Fashion Events, Hair Shows, Celebrities, Motivation, Inspiration, Hair Tutorials, How To's, Education and videos in the Salon and Beauty Industry.
I started TheSalonGuy brand 5 years ago after the passing of my Mother and discovering a role model of mine who has a few books on turning your passion into a business. I have spent the last 20+ years in the salon industry, tech and fashion. I left the industry at some point to become a Fireman and Aux. Police Officer. I did 6 years service and resigned shortly after 9/11.
I have a passion for helping people, educating and motivating. I work with major brands, local businesses and individuals looking to expand and grow.
I am posting videos every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday at 7am EST. My videos will be focused on celebrity hairstyles, athletes, models, actors, social media stars and event videos.
Email firstname.lastname@example.org to purchase and mention TheSalonGuy sent you!
This is pretty much like a foundation/uniformed layered cut, it’s done a little different than I was taught but your pretty much doing 90 degree angled layers all over yeah? Them cuts look awesome with texture on that length hair.
Great vid as always 👍
Guy, you should focus in taking the advices instead of wanting to be right; it's a very childish behaviour for a such grown man. Your videos are too long, too boring and too auditively unbearable; if you change it, you'll have more success. I just want the best for you!
Dr Ernesto Roldán like most opinions, everyone has them. I have over 1,200 videos on YouTube. I’m assuming this is one of your first videos you have watched of mine, you aren’t a subscriber, and you may not even be in the industry. Please let me know. Out of the other numerous amounts of videos I have, there are ones that are taught in less than 5 min and some more than 45 min. You yourself may want only 5-10 minutes, but there are thousands if not millions of viewers that actually benefit from my longer videos. I invite you to explore more of my content before you continue with insults and rude observations.
You can teach with much less words, just by saying the relevant things. Too much talking is just confusing and headache inducing. I feel dizzy after 1 minute in your videos and have to mute them and watch the procedure without sound. Can you imagine how annoying you are if one learn MORE without hearing you?. Please less talking and more direct approach; you talk too much but say too little, and the worst of all is that you totally ignore the fundamental advices, like the why's and why not's. Remember that the 90% of the people come here are hairdressing students. Keep it slow and simple, please. Less is more here. This is a haircut that can be explained in 10 minutes!
Thanks for making these awesome videos. They are mesmerizing to watch! Recently got one of the worst cuts in my life. The hairdresser cut bangs and when I asked her to blend it into the sides a bit, she pulled forward from the crown and cut out a hunk, so it looks like I have a mullet now! Not a good look on below the shoulder hair with no other layers. Now I know for sure what went wrong.
I wasn't happy with my haircut so I cut it again following your method.
Every time I lifted the hair up there were always some odd stands so
kept cutting at it and now my hair is very short with a couple of holes
at the back of the head. Anyway it actually doesn't look bad because I
j=have thick wavy hair so the holes are not obvious. I am going to grow
it out and try it again cuz this style looks amazing
