Thanks for being Part Of The FSE FAMILY!
Thank you - I loved all the occ bone finder tip and the explanation was detailed, fab haircut.
Could you or Matt do a video showing how to hold scissors that way - when you’re channel cutting you hold them downwards with the points toward the nape - I have carpal tunnel.
Great video thanks again 😀
Josh DeMarco Whomever You educate / Educated for they chose wisely. This really was one of the best tutorials I have seen, well explained, I could see everything you were talking about :) Technically superior and didn't take 3 hours. Bravo
That cut is stunning! I got this cut a couple of years ago and my hairdresser, whom I'd been going to for years and knew not to use thinners on my hair, messed it up. I went back to get it fixed and she made it worse. I went to the hairdresser I was originally recommended to get my bob cut by and it took him an hour and a half to fix her bad cut. He basically had to cut out all the hair where she'd hacked it with the thinners. I've been going to him since and my hair is past my shoulderd, I won't ever have a cut like that again!
I don't have a graduated haircut or style. I have a pretty standard long pixie with mainly 90 degree all over. When I let my hair grow out, if I don't have layers I have zero volume and wave, its flat and appears thin. If I have layers, I get tons of volume, waves and curls. i don't round brush, I hardly blowdry or use products.
Now, if only I could find a hair artist that would follow these great tips near me, that would be awesome. Would love to find a video on good hair styles for thinning at the front/top of the head hair for women.
Super helpful. lol, "The cookie monster." I do that all the time and it really screws me up but I'm getting way better at not doing it. Just have to break the habit. Crappy muscle memory I guess. Cool guy, btw. :P Can you do a video about how to build a portfolio where you show what it looks like? I really want to be able to have one ready when I'm done school and I want it to be great.
You should learn how to build a portfolio during your salon success class (that's what Pivot Point calls it, not sure what Milady calls it). Take pictures at different angles, different lighting, were things we were told. Hope that helps.
