I'd like to see a SEMA show just for working trucks. My trucks always had to earn their keep, I had an electrical contracting business and put camper shells on the trucks to holds all the tools and materials, then put snow plows on them in winter to service my snow removal contracts. During other times they towed my boats or were used to take me hunting. They never sat idle in a show or a mall parking lot. They should have shows that help contractors make money, not spend it. Having said that, yeah, some of the trucks were cool, especially the old Dodges and the Pike's Peak truck. All flash and no function doesn't get it done boys!
We were doing the same thing in the 80's only we used 44" super swappers ,Tunnel rams and blowers on big blocks. Now it's diesels big rims and tinny rubber. I can tell they've spent countless hours on their rides. I can appreciate that👍
posers, i have more ground clearance with my honda accord, guy spends 2 hundred thou for looks, just like the kids of today POSER PUNKS,and the ones with the latino impala jumper tires, fruitcake trucks, lol.
Those big ass super lifted trucks are a total waste of money. They look retarded. You can't off road in them, you cant work out of them, your not gonna use it as a daily driver. So its just a $90K piece to look at.
The power ram at 6:48 is honestly better than those mall crawlers in my opinion, because it has a modern drive-train and you could literally daily drive or if you really wanted to you could take it off road no problem. The 200,000 dollar mall crawlers are pretty neat to look at but you wouldn't daily drive them or take them off road, like what the hell do you do with them?
+Holden McGroin As someone who actually daily drives a 1984 W250 Power Ram every single day that I completely restored from the ground up I'm far more used to seeing and saying "Power Ram" so I'm sorry if I accidentally said Power Ram instead of Power Wagon, you can believe I know the fucking difference between the two there bud, my display picture is literally my Power Ram if you hadn't noticed.
y'all need to show some real trucks that actually can be worked instead of a bunch of parking lot Queens or lot lizards Mall crawlers or whatever you want to call them things they don't even deserve to be called trucks
How long would this truck`s hold in competition on a Baja 500. They are build for driving ore are they not ????
Show up and burning rubber are not good use of cars like these.... And I cant see any productive whit it aether.
Huge useless trucks, huge waste of my time. All that money, time, effort, bling still = SH!T 4 nothing trucks that CAN'T be used as a truck. You should be shot 4 posting such crap. Truck builder should be banned from building such crap. 2ea. his own I guess.
I love seeing sema coverage but in a way I hate sema because it's responsible for all these mall crawler pavement princess trucks that have 33in tires and 30 in rims.......but anyway after that rant it's still a cool video dta
+Corbin Greiner the funny thing is I'm a teenager and when I make a comment like that most people think I'm older lol. But it just looks dumb to have a truck setup like that....what happened to the old school way of lifting a truck where you stuff 37s or 40s under a truck with 6 inches of lift and 16in or 17in bullet hole rims. hopefully that style of truck will get popular again
They wouldn't be so bad if they didn't have such a massive gap from the top of the tire to the fender, I mean the fitment is just pathetic like I could fucking play basketball in there! 30 inch wheels, 33 inch tires, fucking 30 inch lift, like c'mon wtf! Shit looks retarded.
Love the video I know that sema not open to the public:( but what if you guys can do some kind of raffle for next year to invite at least 1 of your subscribers to next year sema show? I’m just saying it doesn’t Hurt to ask. P.s. keep them coming....
