Thanks for being Part Of The FSE FAMILY!
I usually just download these and listen on my mp3 player later. Wanted to chime in here on the biggest hurdle. I'm not in school yet because of my biggest hurdle. Trying to find a job that will accommodate schooling.
I love your videos, I’ve been at my current salon for two years and your videos help me not get complacent. I love education and sharing these videos with my coworkers so we can always implement something new while at work.
I love watching your videos & seeing all the awesome hair styles you create. I have NEVER in my life had a stylist take the time to section off my hair & meticulously cut it the way I see you do it & I've been to quite a few. I have the worst of both worlds, very fine, thin hair, so I've always just "settled" for what I get, but I actually think the real problem is that I just haven't found a stylist like you who takes their time & who really, really knows their stuff. It's very obvious that you do. I'm sure they're around, I just don't know how to go about finding them & I don't have that much hair to be going & sitting in someone's chair that I have no idea what kind of work they do & then they do it completely wrong & then I'm really in a bad situation. I've had my hair cut in a stacked bob for a pretty good while now & it has never looked all that great. I basically sit down & they start cutting a little here & there, no measuring, no sectioning, no nothing. I live in Central Texas, about an hour from Austin, an hour & a half from Houston & I was wondering if you by chance knew of anyone who is a great stylist like yourself in this area that you could refer me to? I'd love to come to you, but from what I understand you're in Pennsylvania, so that won't work. But if you could possibly point me in the right direction to someone you might know, I would greatly appreciate it! I emailed you on June 20th & I never heard anything back, so I thought I'd try this route. Thank you in advance for your time, I really appreciate it! And sorry for such a long message.
As well as the others, in school I hated doing pedi's as well. a few times I almost hurled doing some nasty feet. I refuse to do them now. Challenge as a beginner was highlights. It took a while to learn the tricks of our trade. those panic moments, heart racing, hot flash, OMG moment. Lol
