Mary Kay Inspiring Stories premieres Documentaries Created by Real Women against Domestic Violence In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness month Mary Kay® is premiering a series of documentaries to put a national spotlight on the cause. Women nationwide, alongside female celebrities, Maria Menounos ("Extra"), JoAnna Garcia Swisher ("Better with You"), Alexa Vega ("Spy Kids") joined forces through the Mary Kay Inspiring Stories program to unite their voices to make a difference. Mary Kay® encourages millions to join in the fight against domestic violence from September 28th through October 31st at MaryKayInspiringStories.com. With each view we can change the future of domestic violence today. Actress JoAnna Garcia Swisher narrator for Give Hope, noted, "The movement to end domestic violence can begin with a single viewing of each Mary Kay Inspiring Stories documentaries. The more views we can generate will lead to a heightened awareness about domestic violence and then ultimately we can all be a part of making an important change." Mary Kay® created Mary Kay Inspiring Stories, an all-female initiative to unite in the fight against domestic violence -- the number one cause of injury to women nationwide. The goal of Mary Kay Inspiring Stories is to raise awareness, provide a platform of support for those impacted by domestic violence, and encourage education so more people recognize the signs of abuse and are empowered to escape it. Mary Kay® is a company committed to causes that change the lives of women and children including domestic violence and cancers affecting women. Over the years, Mary Kay® has donated millions of dollars and advanced support, education and prevention efforts through its Beauty that Counts™ campaign and its support of the Mary Kay Foundation. Alexa Vega narrator for Give Joy added, "I think it's important that companies who care, like Mary Kay, exist. They help to make the world a better place by putting their power, influence to work for others who need support like those affected by domestic violence." Through Mary Kay Inspiring Stories the company will support donations to domestic violence shelters nationwide. America can join the cause in three ways: viewing and sharing the films at marykayinspiringstories.com, purchasing a Mary Kay Beauty that Counts™ Creme lipstick, or becoming a fan of Mary Kay at facebook.com/marykay. Mary Kay will be making over $80,000 in donations with a special $20,000 donation in the name of the crew behind the most viewed film. Additionally, from Sept. 1 -- Oct. 31, Mary Kay Inc. will donate $1 to the Mary Kay Foundation for every new Facebook fan -- up to $1 million. And, consumers can join Mary Kay in its effort to change the lives of women and children around the world through the purchase of a limited-edition* Beauty that Counts™ Mary Kay® Creme Lipstick. In the U.S., from Sept. 15 through Dec. 15, 2011, $1 will be donated to the Mary Kay Foundation from each purchase of "Give Hope," "Give Joy" and "Give Dreams," lipstick shades to assist the Foundation's efforts to end domestic violence. Maria Menounos, narrator for Give Dreams added, "Everyday women all over the world put on lipstick to feel empowered, beautiful and confident but when a woman purchases a Beauty that Counts™ Creme Lipstick she can actually give back to help others so they have the confidence to escape domestic violence—that's a beautiful thing." Domestic violence is a universal issue, so Mary Kay® selected 18 women from all backgrounds to be involved in the program, including survivors of abuse or those passionate about the cause. Ada Alvarez, a participant and survivor of dating violence said her Mary Kay Inspiring Stories experience took on an even deeper meaning when she met other women involved who were survivors like her. The Mary Kay Inspiring Stories documentaries show how survivors of domestic violence have found joy, hope and dreams in their escape from violence. The participating women were divided into three crews, Team Give Joy, Team Give Hope or Team Give Dreams, to explore the meanings behind the words. Each crew collaborated in Hollywood alongside one of the three celebrities who added their voices to the cause by narrating the documentaries. Leah Herrington, U.S. Director of Marketing for Mary Kay® noted, "We hope that Mary Kay Inspiring Stories gives hope to the hopeless, gives joy to the women who can say they've survived and gives dreams to those who wish for a better tomorrow."

If a child is lucky enough to make the trip it is the unaccompanied minors that are put in to the child sex slave industry. A good portion of the children come here seeking asylum and have a sponsor waiting here if the child can get here through the coyote. As confirmed by border patrol some of these sponsors are registered pedophiles leaving one to wonder how they can sponsor a foreign illegal immigrant child and what will happen to that child if they actually survive the journey. The reality is the cartel dumps these people at the border simply because they do not want them there and tell them Phoenix is just over that mountain. With the thought of a better life for their children in mind they start the tedious hike only to realize (sometimes when it;s too late) that Phoenix is not there and now they are in a battle for their lives against the harsh elements of the Arizona desert. Humane borders an organization which leaves water and food drops for these illegal immigrants all up the route north is leaving more than water and food. They collect backpacks, boots, shoes, soap, medicine etc and leave drops along the way explaining the large piles of clothes always found on a trafficking route. The immigrants get a drop of new clothes and medicine and change in to the new clothing and simply just leave all their old dirty clothing scattered around or in piles. This must stop! Humane borders makes it possible for the coyotes to abuse these women and children by ensuring that they have what they need to make the trip enabling the evil things done along those trails. Border patrol also confirmed a rape tree in the area and the sponsorship of pedophiles and immigrant children. Please America it's time to re evaluate what is going on here and look at the bigger picture. ©2018 DSW74NEWS NO USE OF ANY MATERIAL WITHOUT EXPRESS PERMISSION find VOP on facebook https://www.facebook.com/VOP-Charlie-Co-Team-Rodriguez-681667808835680/?ref=br_tf

HEDDA NUSSBAUM, JOEL STEINBERG, & LISA STEINBERG - "LARRY KING LIVE", 2005 [191]

28:18
CLICK ON "SHOW MORE" for more description: Hedda Nussbaum (born 1942) is an American woman who professed to be the adoptive mother of Lisa Steinberg, who died of physical abuse in 1987. The death of Lisa sparked a lengthy and controversial trial and media frenzy. The legal case was one of the first to be televised "gavel to gavel." Supporters characterized Nussbaum as a victim of horrific domestic abuse at the hands of her live-in partner, Joel Steinberg. Before meeting Joel Steinberg in 1975, Nussbaum had been an editor and author of children's books at Random House publishers, and before that at Appleton Century Crofts. Steinberg was a defense attorney who sometimes handled adoption cases. Beginning in 1976, Nussbaum and Steinberg lived together in a brownstone apartment in New York City's Greenwich Village. Her 1977 book, Plants Do Amazing Things, was dedicated, in part, "to Joel, my everyday inspiration." Due to Nussbaum's occasionally obvious bruises and other injuries, friends and colleagues suspected that Nussbaum was the victim of domestic violence. Neighbors later stated to police they believed that Nussbaum and Steinberg were active participants in a "some kind of a sexual sadomasochistic game." Friends occasionally offered to help if Nussbaum was being abused, but she declined their offers of intervention or aid and refused to implicate Steinberg. In 1981, under dubious legal circumstances, Nussbaum and Steinberg took custody of an infant girl they named Lisa. The girl's birth mother had paid Steinberg a $500.00 legal fee to place the child with a Roman Catholic family; both Steinberg and Nussbaum were Jewish. Under similar circumstances, Nussbaum and Steinberg later took in a toddler they named Mitchell. Nussbaum and Steinberg never legally adopted either child. According to initial police reports, on November 1, 1987 around 7:00 p.m., Steinberg rendered Lisa unconscious with a severe blow to the head. Nussbaum remained alone with the dying child for roughly ten hours, failing to notify police or medical personnel. Steinberg departed and returned several times, sometimes freebasing cocaine. According to initial police reports, Nussbaum didn't notify authorities because she believed Steinberg had supernatural healing powers. At roughly 6.00 a.m. the next morning, Lisa stopped breathing. Shortly thereafter, Steinberg telephoned 911 at Nussbaum's urging. Steinberg was convicted on charges of first-degree manslaughter. After serving 16 years at the Southport Correctional Facility in Pine City, New York, where he was held in protective custody, Steinberg was released on parole in 2004 and got a job in construction. In the years following Lisa's death, Nussbaum worked to rebuild her life and had numerous reconstructive plastic surgeries. She also co-facilitated a support group for battered women for about eight years and later worked as a paralegal for an organization that assists battered women. In 1995, Nussbaum began giving lectures about abuse at colleges and shelters. When Steinberg was released from prison, however, she receded from public attention until the publication of her book a year and a half later. The above information courtesy of Wikipedia. See that site for more about this case. HARD TO BELIEVE that Joel Steinberg was released from jail in 2004!

I'm writing this book to offer my story and to help other women rescue themselves from the physical pain--as well as the mental and spiritual distress--that comes from enduring a verbally abusive relationship. I want those that have suffered verbal abuse to know that they too can find peace and happiness. That's what I share in my book--the story of my abusive marriage, the story of how I eventually got out, and the story of my renewal--my second life. About the Author I thank my Higher Power for being in recovery. I now have a wonderful and healthy life with the help of the Domestic Violence Center(now HopeWorks) and Al-Anon(12 Step Program). I just celebrated my seven year anniversary with my husband Jake. On our anniversary we visited Sedona and the Grand Canyon. It was wonderful, beautiful, spiritual and inspirational all at the same time. We enjoy estate sales, travel, parks, museums, food, theater and walking our dog and two cats. I currently enjoy meditation, yoga, ballet and painting. I have spent a large portion of my life running and creating very profitable businesses. I have lived in Spain, England and the Netherlands. Now I am back in the States. This is the first series of books about my life which I am writing to help others survive and get through the insidious and devastating effects of verbal abuse. Verbal abuse does not have to define you, it does not have to destroy you - but it can make you stronger. Unmasking the abuser | Dina McMillan | TEDxCanberra

19:32
Women are the predominant victims of violence at the hands of men they know. Dina McMillan teaches women how to identify the signs of potential violence before it happens. Dr Dina McMillan is a social psychologist with a Master’s degree and PhD from Stanford University in California. In 2006 she identified the specific tactics used by abusers to establish and maintain abusive relationships. Dr McMillan published a ground-breaking book, But He Says He Loves Me: How to Avoid Being Trapped in a Manipulative Relationship, which offers rare insight into the minds of abusive predators and details the careful strategy of manipulation they use to ensnare women in abusive relationships. This knowledge has been crafted into a unique set of prevention programs called Unmasking the Abuser, designed for early intervention and improved response. It offers a simple way to reduce the number of teen girls and women in abusive relationships with tools to clearly identify the manipulative tactics used by abusers even in the first stages of a relationship. It also highlights the ways teen girls and women can assess their own vulnerability and then minimise it. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx

Behind the headlines about domestic violence and abuse within families are real children, who need help rebuilding shattered lives. The Invisibles is an inspiring documentary telling the story of five young people who have experienced adversity and trauma that most of us can only imagine. The film follows these young people as they prepare to take part in the Berry Street Debutante Ball. For most of them, the Deb Ball signifies the first time in their lives they are able to be seen, and to be celebrated. The documentary shows the immense courage and resilience of these young people in the face of their experience. We see the local community rallying around these young people, to show them that they are valuable, and to set them on a path for success. Raised Without Gender

29:25
With recent victories for the trans rights movement and more young people defining as something other than “male” or “female” than ever before, VICE host Amelia Abraham goes to Sweden - the world’s most forward thinking country when it comes to questioning gender - to find out what it’s like to grow up without the gender binary. In Sweden, the gender neutral pronoun “hen” has been in the national dictionary since 2015 and is now commonly used by most Swedes, the Swedish government’s school plan has since 1998 forbidden enforcing gender stereotypes, and government funded gender neutral kindergartens with gender aware teachers has made it possible for families to raise their children without a set gender identity, something that often sparks controversy in the foreign press. Amelia spends time with one of these gender non-conforming families, mapa (mom and dad) Del LaGrace Volcano who was born intersex (both male and female), the children Mika (5) and Nico (3) and their grandma Margareta. She visits Mika and Nico's gender aware kindergarten to find out what the teachers and the other kids make of Mika’s gender expression. She also meets the founder of Sweden’s gender-neutral kindergartens, Lotta Rajalin, to learn how they go about deleting gender norms from education, as well as psychiatrist Dr Eberhard who is against Sweden’s attitude to gender in kindergartens. Lawyer's Collective Women's Rights Initiative - India (UN Trust Fund grantee)

02:12
In 2005, the Lawyer's Collective Women's Rights Initiative helped enact the first law in India that specifically addresses domestic violence. To set in motion uniform enforcement of the law, LCWRI produced a handbook for judges, now disseminated throughout the country. To further translate the law into action, LCWRI trains state actors to respond to domestic violence and provides legal aid to women facing violence. LCWRI also leads annual nation-wide evaluation of the implementation of the domestic violence law, presented publicly as an accountability tool to the highest authorities in the country.

MAAFA 21 [A documentary on eugenics and genocide]

02:26:16
[Starts at 5:30] This film is not mine. It was done by an excellent team of researchers and filmmakers, whom I encourage you to meet and support, at http://www.maafa21.com/. I encourage each and every viewer to buy a DVD copy of this film and *please support the filmmakers' work* by whichever way you can. I am posting this as a means to help spread their powerful information -- this film has not had the visibility that it deserves, and that it must have. Maafa 21 is a documentary on the modern eugenics movement, from its roots in 19th century imperialist Europe and in various post-slavery elitist milieus in America, to the Third Reich and its Final Solution for the "Jewish question" -- the film proceeds on to today, where it exposes the incredible proportions of the culling of Black people by abortion, in 21st century America. "Maafa" is a Swahili word which means "a terrible tragedy", and indeed that is what has been imposed upon millions of eugenical victims across the world, to this very day. Case in point, the African-American population. After decades of slavery in the neo-feudal South, Black Americans went on to become the prime target for U.S. eugenicists. The main vehicle for this was - and is - abortion. The documentary follows the life and career of Margaret Sanger, a racist, reactionary feudalist, who created the American Birth Control League to promote the sterilization and abortion of "unfit" people, under the abused labels of "social work" and "charity". The motto was "more from the fit, less from the unfit", and it was all funded by the habitual Wall Street pack of bankers, lawyers, and foundation executives. In the meanwhile, fascism was rising in Europe, much to the joy of Sanger and her fellow eugenicists, who saw this as a chance to have truly eugenic regimes, and a general "cleansing of the race", and cheered on as people like Hitler and Mussolini spread their reigns of ethnic cleansing and terror. World War II discredited eugenics across the board, as people witnessed the ultimate consequences of this social hygienism: the scurrilous persecution of Jews, Gypsies, and other minorities, and then the concentration camp, forced labor, the gas chamber. When Auschwitz and Treblinka totaled the reputation of eugenics, Sanger and her Wall Street backers were forced to reinvent the eugenics movement, and this was done by a radical makeover, in terms of image, of slogans and of rhetoric. From now on, things were no longer to be presented in terms of racial and social hygiene. Things became infinitely subtler, and the eugenics movement became infinitely more dangerous. Now, it was all about "population control", "demographic balance" and even "environmental conservation" -- the "too many people" discourse that is trumpeted to this very day. This was eventually translated into global economic decision-making via neo-feudalist institutions such as UN, IMF, World Bank. The "too many people", neo-Malthusian rhetoric is the obvious companion of a general global drift into corporatist (i.e. fascist) reasoning and methodology, and this is at the core of what is now commonly known as "sustainability". The paradigm is that you don't raise standards of living across the world, and empower people with middle class economies, and ever improving technological development. No, you keep them in squalor, under enforced arrested development, and impose a commune-type social environment, under "corporate governance" (i.e., fascism). This is what has come to be known as Agenda 21 communitarianism, the UN-sponsored, "socially equitable" organization model for the 21st century -- non-development and fascism. Now, a big part of this, in strictly eugenical terms is "family planning". This concept is sold through valid initiatives such as the free distribution of contraceptives to poor populations. Yet, its real, ugly, final face is sterilization and abortion. You don't raise the family's standard of living; instead, you reduce the family standard in itself, or even prevent it from coming to fruition at all. The key institution in terms of this is Planned Parenthood, created by Margaret Sanger after WWII. This institution kills more African Americans every year through abortion, than are killed from every other cause combined. It was globalized through the UN system, with the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF). The IPPF has many branches and cohorts, and has become the epicenter of a global eugenics network that is responsible for millions of sterilizations and abortions yearly, worldwide, mostly in third world countries. After decades of this, the IPPF has more than earned a sinister right to be known as a global equivalent to the SS Bureau of Race and Resettlement, the III Reich institution responsible for depopulation in the Nazi empire. Get informed and act. In the past there was one Simon Wiesenthal. In the future there will be thousands -- but it's up to you to make that happen.
