Support New Wellness Living and this 'New Thought Series': Via Paypal: paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=PQRGZ58MG9EDA Your Word is Your Wand is a book of affirmations. These affirmations will help you invite the things that you want into your life and to banish those things you do not want. There is power in words, and this book helps you unlock that power. In a series of three books, "The Game of Life and How to Play It, Your Word is Your Wand, " and "The Secret Door to Success," Florence Scovel Shinn outlines the secrets and the methods to attracting health, wealth, and prosperity. This timeless classic has been dusted off and repackaged for a modern audience. Florence Scovel Shinn was an American artist and book illustrator who became a New Thought spiritual teacher and metaphysical writer in her middle years. In New Thought circles, she is best known for her first book, The Game of Life and How to Play It (1925). Shinn expressed her philosophy as: The invisible forces are ever working for man who is always ‘pulling the strings’ himself, though he does not know it. Owing to the vibratory power of words, whatever man voices, he begins to attract. The Game of Life, Florence Scovel Shinn Her metaphysical works began with her self-published The Game of Life and How to Play it in 1925. Your Word is Your Wand was published in 1928 and The Secret Door to Success in 1940. The Game of Life and How to Play it includes quotes from the Bible and anecdotal explanations of the author's understanding of God and man. Her philosophy centers on the power of positive thought and usually includes instructions for verbal or physical affirmation. Shinn is considered part of the New Thought movement, as her writings follow in the tradition of Phineas Quimby (1802–1866), Emma Curtis Hopkins (1849–1925), and both Charles Fillmore (1854–1948) and Myrtle Fillmore (1845–1931), co-founders of the Unity Church. Works by Florence Scovel Shinn include: Shinn, F. S. (1925). The Game of Life. In The writings of Florence Scovel Shinn (1988, pp. 1 – 92). Marina del Rey, CA: DeVorss & Company. New Read & Listen! The Way Out and The Way Beyond by Joseph Benner with Read-Along PDF Book

"The Way Out" speaks with the same compassionate voice from the same author as it helps the reader come to terms with the source of their financial troubles to ultimately achieve and prosper from the same deep level the soul. The updated edition of "The Way Out" has been adapted with gender-neutral language that helps any reader relate to the message in personal terms. As the author writes, Now that you are ready to hear the law, here are the words that everyone can understand. Note these words and let them impress themselves on you, so that from this moment ever afterward they will live in your mind as a guiding influence. WHATEVER YOU THINK AND HOLD IN CONSCIOUSNESS AS BEING SO, MANIFESTS ITSELF IN YOUR BODY OR AFFAIRS. Whether you accept this or not, consider for a while the truth that every thought you think, especially those relating in any way to self, hovers around in your mental atmosphere just as a child stays close to its parent. These thoughts being about yourself receive the life that maintains them from the feeling that you put into them. Joseph Sieber Benner was an American author and spiritual automatic writer who used the pen name "anonymous". His most famous books are The Impersonal Life and The Way Out. According to author Jon Klimo, "by 1916, Benner said he felt he could no longer resist the growing inclination to give himself over as a vehicle to a larger presence, to let his mind be subsumed by (or co-creatively interact with) a larger Mind or Being." His book The Impersonal Life contained words Benner believed were recorded directly from God, and was first published in July 1914. Benner taught that Christ's proclaiming "I AM" indicated "the true spirit that resides in every human being." The "SUN center" was an Ohio group formed in 1920 around Benner's teachings. One of the group's practices was to "enter into the silence, stillness and peace" each day at noon. Brenner also made a series of lessons called the "The Inner Life Courses" he intended to develop discipline in life, discernment and the awakening of the Christ within the soul. From 1912 until 1914 she studied with Thomas Troward; Behrend was the only personal student he had throughout his life. After her studies with Troward she founded a New Thought school called The School of the Builders in approximately 1915 in New York City, running it herself until 1925. She then founded another New Thought school in Los Angeles, after which she traveled throughout North America lecturing on mental science and New Thought for 35 years, as well as giving radio broadcasts. She is quoted as an expert in the best-selling self-help book The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. Support New Wellness Living and this 'New Thought Series': Via Paypal: paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=PQRGZ58MG9EDA The Cure of Nervousness: it is a well-known fact that a considerable majority of the people in this country are addicted more or less to nervousness in one or more of its many forms; and as nervousness is the direct cause of all mental ills, and the indirect cause of a great many physical ills, organic as well as functional, there are few things that would be more important than that of finding a method through which health for the nerves could be secured. How to cure this malady has long been a problem. Medicine as a rule avails but little, and the various forms of other therapeutic systems reach but a limited number. It is therefore that the discovery of a remedy that could reach all cases, or nearly all cases, would easily be considered one of the most remarkable discoveries of the age. We may safely state that when people learn to keep the nervous system in perfect order there will be very few cases of insanity, if any, and physical diseases will be reduced at least one half. Christian Daa Larson was an American New Thought leader and teacher, as well as a prolific author of metaphysical and New Thought books. He is credited by Horatio Dresser as being a founder in the New Thought movement. Many of Larson's books remain in print today, nearly 100 years after they were first published, and his writings influenced notable New Thought authors and leaders, including Religious Science founder Ernest Holmes. Early in the career of Ernest Holmes, Larson's writings so impressed him that he abandoned Mary Baker Eddy's Christian Science textbook Science & Health for them. Ernest and his brother Fenwicke Holmes took a correspondence course with Larson, and in his biography of his brother, Ernest Holmes: His Life and Times, Fenwicke elaborates on the influence of Larson's thought on Ernest, ranking Larson's The Ideal Made Real (1912) with Ralph Waldo Trine's In Tune with the Infinite in its influence over him. In 1912 Larson developed the Optimist Creed, which in 1922 was adopted by Optimist International, better known as the Optimist Clubs. Works by Christian D. Larson include: The Ideal Made Real or Applied Metaphysics for Beginners (1912) On the Heights (1908) The Pathway of Roses (1913) Nothing Succeeds Like Success Perfect Health What Right Thinking Will Do The Great Within (1908) Your Forces and How to Use Them Brains and How to Get Them Arthur Dimmesdale How to remain well (1912) Demons (A short dramatic monologue)(1911) Source: Wikipedia.org | Amazon.com

With a timeless message and the ability to explain success principles and how they work in an entertaining style, her writings are still considered the leaders in prosperity literature today. The Secret Door to Success is a series of talks and lectures given by Mrs. Shinn as she taught individuals to control conditions and release abundance through a knowledge of Spiritual Law. Support New Wellness Living and this 'New Thought Series': Via Paypal: paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=PQRGZ58MG9EDA This book contains the very essence of the Principle of Expression. Had I cared to, I could have expanded it into a book of several hundred pages but such expansion would have defeated the purpose of this book. Commands (to be effective) must be short and to the point: the greatest command ever recorded is found in the few simple words, "And God said, Let there be light." In keeping with this principle I now give to you, the reader, in these few pages, the truth as it was revealed to me. ~ Neville Neville Goddard, better known as just Neville, was one of the quietly dramatic and supremely influential teachers in the New Thought field for many years...In a simple, yet somehow elegant one-hour lecture, Neville was able to clarify the nature of God and God's relationship to every person. He spoke of God in intimate terms as though he knew God very well, which he did. Joseph Murphy, a writer and lecturer, who studied with Neville in New York City, said of him: "Neville may eventually be recognized as one of the world’s great mystics". Works by Neville Goddard include: 1939 - At Your Command (At your command, translation) - "man can decide one thing and it happen? In the most emphatic way, yes! Man has always decided what appeared in today's world and decide what appears in his world and will continue to do so as long as man is conscious of being human. No work has ever appeared in his world without man have decided that should appear. " 1941 - Your Faith is Your Fortune (Faith is your wealth, unofficial translation) - "Every man automatically expresses what it is to be aware. Without effort or using words in every moment of life, the man decides he is and be aware of what is to be and to have. This principle unchanging expression is dramatized in all bibles world. The writers of our sacred texts were enlightened mystics, former masters in the art of psychology. Telling the story of the soul, they personified the impersonal principle in the form of historical documents both to preserve and to protect the eyes of the uninitiated. " 1945 - Prayer: The Art of Believing (Prayer: The art of thought, my translation) 1946 - The Search (Search, unofficial translation) - "When traveling by sea, meditating on 'perfect condition' and I wondered what I would be I had too pure eyes to perceive sin. As I lost the flame would let this thought, I found high above the darkness of the senses ... " 1948 - Out of this World (out of this world, my translation) 1951 - Feeling Is the Secret (Living inner secret, unofficial translation) 1952 - The Power of Awareness (consciousness power, unofficial translation) - "The whole creation exists in you and your destiny to become increasingly aware of her infinite wonders and experience things more majestic and grand in it ..." 1954 - Awakened Imagination (Imagination awakened, unofficial translation) - "the mystery hidden from eternity nations," "Christ from the very you, the hope of glory", "behold, now revealed, is your own imagination. This is the eternal mystery that I struggle to administer to me and which I urge others ... " 1956 - Seedtime and Harvest (planting and harvesting, unofficial translation) 1961 - The Law and The Promise (Law and Promise, unofficial translation) - "My mystical experiences led me to accept that it literally, the whole world's a stage '. And to think that God plays all roles. The purpose of the piece? Transform man, creation, God, the Creator. God loved man, creation, and became a man in the belief that this act of self-achievement will transform man - creation - God - the Creator. Christians commonly remember him for the intimacy he expressed concerning his relationship to God as recorded in a book compiled after his death, the classic Christian text, The Practice of the Presence of God. Despite his lowly position in life and the priory, his character attracted many to him. He had a reputation for experiencing profound peace and visitors came to seek spiritual guidance from him. The wisdom he passed on to them, in conversations and in letters, would later become the basis for the book, The Practice of the Presence of God. Father Joseph de Beaufort, later vicar general to the Archbishop of Paris, compiled this work after Brother Lawrence died. It became popular among Catholics and Protestants alike, with John Wesley and A. W. Tozer recommending it to others. Source: Wikipedia.org | Amazon.com

Within You Is the Power by Henry Thomas Hamblin

Support New Wellness Living and this 'New Thought Series': Via Paypal: paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=PQRGZ58MG9EDA Within You is the Power shows us there is a power lying hidden in mankind, by the use of which any person can rise to higher and better things in life. The object of this book is to help people to bring their inward powers of mind and spirit into expression, wisely and in harmony with the laws of life and to build up character. There is no way whereby the discipline of life can be avoided. There are no means by which fate can be 'tricked,' nor cunning device by which fate can be evaded. Each life must meet its own troubles and difficulties: each soul must pass through its deep waters, every heart must encounter sorrow and grief. But no one needs to be overwhelmed in the great conflicts of life, for one who has learned the great secret of his identity with the Universal Life and Power, dwells in an impregnable city, built upon and into the Rock of Truth, against which the storms of life beat in vain. While this book does not offer any vain promises of an easy life--for, if this were possible, it would be the greatest of all disasters--but rather endeavours to show how to become so strong that life looks almost easy by comparison. Henry Thomas Hamblin was an English mystic and New Thought author. The essence of Hamblin's mystical experience and philosophy was of the omnipresence, omnipotence and all-goodness of God ("The Kingdom or realm of God is with us now and always"). He believed that "abounding health, sufficiency of supply, achievement, accomplishment and joy indescribable are the normal state for man.", and that, to achieve this state, man needed to come into "harmony with Cosmic Law". Over time the emphasis of Hamblin's written work changed from showing people how to change their lives through right thought and faith, to teaching them how to find a living consciousness of God for himself alone. It appeals to those seeking to improve their lives, whether by the practical application of thought or through following a more spiritual path. "By thought man either blesses or curses himself. By it he brings into his life either success or failure, health or disease, happiness or unhappiness, poverty or prosperity. It is all in his mind and the character of his thought. Whatever there is in your life or mine, of disharmony, lack, sickness or unhappiness, is the result of our disharmonious thought. We live in an orderly Universe, but we do not react harmoniously to our environment, we are not in correspondence with the hidden law and order around us. It is not necessary for the universe to be altered; what is needed is that we ourselves should be changed. Within ourselves is the cause of the disorder in our own individual world-for we each live in a little world of our own creation- therefore, the disorder and trouble lhal afflicts us, or the lack that restricts our life, can never be overcome, save by a change of mind, habit of thought, and mental attitude." And I looked for the cause. I looked around, but could not find it; I looked in books, but could not find it; I looked within, and found there both the cause and the self-made nature of that cause. I looked again, and deeper, and found the remedy. I found one Law, the Law of Love; one Life, the Life of adjustment to that Law; one Truth, the truth of a conquered mind and a quiet and obedient heart. And I dreamed of writing a book which should help men and women, whether rich or poor, learned or unlearned, worldly or unworldly, to find within themselves the source of all success, all happiness, all accomplishment, all truth. And the dream remained with me, and at last became substantial; and now I send it forth into the world on its mission of healing and blessedness, knowing that it cannot fail to reach the homes and hearts of those who are waiting and ready to receive it." How to Make Money by Benjamin Fish "B. F." Austin

In short our purpose is to awaken men from mental slumber, show the unlimited resources in human nature, the unseen yet, open doors to mental wealth first, then as a natural sequence to wealth in material conditions, and thus enlarge and ennoble the life as well as add to its material expressions. The purpose of the true teacher who is ever the true physician as well must always be the "more abundant life" of which the Nazarene spoke and taught. To disclose that life, abounding life, in all its fullness and beauty and point out the laws by which it is gained, with wealth as a natural sequence, is the purpose of the three lessons on which we are entering. Benjamin Fish Austin was a nineteenth-century Canadian educator, Methodist Minister, and Spiritualist. He served as the principal of Alma College girl school from 1881 to 1897 during which time that institution was regarded as one of the most prestigious centres of female education in Canada. B. F. Austin served the Methodist Church for many years as an educator and minister but was expelled from that organisation in 1899 for being a proponent of the Spiritualist movement. He went on to become a renowned Spiritualist in Canada and the United States, publishing many books and editing the Rochester and later Los Angeles-based Spiritualist magazine Reason. To live in the spirit of this wonderful message; to be a living example of this great gospel, to work out in everyday life the principle of this inspiring philosophy, the first and most important thing to do, is to lay aside our sorrows and glooms, and just be glad. Wherever you are, or whatever has happened, just be glad. Be glad because you are here.

Our Sun's Sound ~ Real Vibrations of the Sun❢ 🌞

How does the sun generate its sound? Composed of gases, the sun's core contains a giant nuclear fusion factory, where hydrogen is pressed into helium at temperatures of about 27,000,000° Fahrenheit (15,000,000° Celsius). The energy of this nuclear fusion factory generates convection that reaches all the way to the sun's surface. The convection follows regions, or cells, and is driven by gas that roils and boils, similar to the boiling of water in a pot. The motion of the gas within the convection cells changes the light waves emitted by the surface of the sun. Scientists measure the changing light waves using an instrument called a dopplergraph that is mounted on a spacecraft called the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO). The measured light changes are translated into motion (sound) waves by computer models that capture the relationships between light waves and sound waves. Because the resulting sound waves are at a frequency too low to be heard by humans, the signals are sped up to become audible. The result: an inferred composite of solar sound waves that includes "all kinds of frequencies," McIntosh said. The sun's serenade can only be inferred because there is no air in the 93 million miles of space between the Earth and sun. And since sound cannot travel through a vacuum, the sun cannot be directly heard from Earth. The relatively recent discovery and understanding of the sun's waves are enabling scientists to, for the first time, go under the surface and actually "see" inside the sun. How? With the help of the dopplergraph, which is used to track the time taken by certain waves to travel through the sun and back--similar to the way that seismographs are used to track waves of energy traveling below and along the Earth's surface (in order to help scientists detect earthquakes). From the dopplergraph measurements, scientists can deduce the temperature, chemical composition and motions of gases from just below the sun's surface to close to its core. This technique is also being used to investigate the surfaces and interiors of other stars besides the sun. Source: NSF.gov
