05:34
http://netcertexpert.com/cisco-certifications/cisco-ccna-certification/ CCNA, or Cisco Certified Network Associate, is a highly sought-after Information Technology certification that was developed by Cisco to recognize basic competency in the installation and support of small- to medium-sized networks. To obtain the core CCNA certification, the candidate must pass either two individual exams or a single combination exam. Alternative 1: take ICND1 and ICND2 exams. Passing both of these exams will lead to CCNA certification. ICND1 exam is 90 minutes long whereas the ICND2 is only 75 minutes in duration. Both exams are comprised of between 40 -- 50 questions. Alternative 2: take combination CCNA (CCNAX) exam. This is one 90-minute, proctored, multi-choice exam, of between 45 and 55 questions, which covers a wide range of topics pertinent to a basic understanding of network administration. Before we look at the topics that are covered let's first consider who might be interested in obtaining CCNA certification. What is CCNA Certification and is it Right for Me? If you are interested in computer networks and looking to enter the workplace as an IT Engineer then the answer is a resounding 'YES'. This certification can assist you in landing your first networking position. Without the CCNA certification, not only will you not be taken seriously by companies when looking for a networking position, you also will not be able to specialize in areas such as security, voice, or wireless networks. Cisco also provides separate exam-based certifications CCNA Security, CCNA Voice and CCNA Wireless along with a number of other tracks that recognize those respective areas of networking. For those already in IT, the CCNA certification can be instrumental in further career progression. The types of positions open to IT engineers that hold the CCNA certification include Network Administrator, Network Technician, Network Engineer or Systems Engineer, Information Systems Manager, Network Programmer, Network Analyst, to name just a few. IT engineers for such positions are sought after and demand good salaries. Overview of CWNA Certified Wireless Network Administrator Certification

07:25
For more on CWNA visit http://netcertexpert.com Link to this video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DTfxMPig8Cg So just what is CWNA - Certified Wireless Network Administrator? Certified Wireless Network Administrator, or CWNA, is an industry-standard career certification in Wireless Networking Technology. The CWNA certification validates the professional network engineer’s ability to install, configure, and operate an enterprise wireless network. CWNA’s OriginCWNA is a career certification from Certified Wireless Network Professional or “CWNP”– a recognized, professional organization, within the Wireless industry. The great thing about CWNP certifications is that they are “vendor-neutral” which means that they do not focus on one particular vendor’s technology. As a result, the student is exposed to the technologies of multiple vendors which provides them with a breadth of understanding. This makes the certification “portable” between employers who use different technologies. Perfect for Enterprise Wireless Network Administrators The CWNA training class is aimed at Network Engineers, it is designed to teach them what they need to know to master wireless networking. This course aims to bring the candidate’s knowledge up to the level needed to pass the certification exam and, therefore, focuses on the technologies necessary to perform the job of an enterprise wireless Network Administrator. As presented in this slide, CWNA – or Certified Wireless Network Administrator – leads to the “professional” set of CWNP certifications. The CWNA certification opens the door to specializing in other CWNP certifications: Security, Design, and Analysis. It is important to note that CWNA is a “prerequisite” certification that must be obtained if the candidate wishes to obtain the CWSP, CWDP, or CWAP certifications. If the candidate wishes to certify as a Wireless Networking Expert, or CWNE, it will be necessary to satisfy additional requirements. Why do Employers look for employees or job candidates with certifications such as CWNA? Employers like Returns on their Investments. When a person obtains an industry certification they gain a new skill-set, which can help make them more effective and efficient at their job. Productivity is Increased, and Costs are Reduced.Knowledgeable employees don’t waste time making silly mistakes. They know the quickest and best ways to perform tasks, and may even possess the ability to troubleshoot as they go. Employers find this invaluable! Customers are more Satisfied, because their questions are answered effectively and fully by more knowledgeable staff, customers are happy and are more likely to return. In order to gain the CWNA certification, the candidate will need to take one proctored exam and is multi-choice. This doesn’t mean it is an easy exam. Students need to prepare themselves, through study, in order to be successful. The best first step towards CWNA is to take a class? It is important to find a training provider that has an approved partnership with a certification provider, such as CWNP, and can claim “authorized” status. An “authorized” training provider can be relied upon to provide proper quality training, using officially-sanctioned materials, as outlined by the certification provider – in this case CWNP. NetCertExpert is proud to hold the status of being a “Premiere” CWNP Authorized Learning Center. This means that we are authorized to teach CWNP’s entire curriculum. In fact, NetCertExpert was the first CWNP partner, in the world, to offer the entire CWNP portfolio... and has seen many very satisfied students passing through our doors! NetCertExpert provides CWNP’s full portfolio of classes along with a range of attendance options. We offer both in-person and virtual learning environments, so you don’t have to struggle alone. CCIE 360 Collaboration http://netcertexpert.com/cisco-certifications/cisco-ccie-voice-certification/cisco-360-ccie-collaboration/ In late May 2013, Cisco announced that the CCIE Voice certification is to be retired and in its place will be a new certification: CCIE Collaboration. According to Cisco, the goal of this updated and amended certification is to prepare the candidate to "deploy collaboration systems and services that increase user productivity, improve the experience for customers, and are adaptable and provide a seamless user experience" In order to better understand what this new certification is and what is involved in obtaining certification NetCertExpert held a webinar with guest speakers from Cisco, on October 22nd 2013. This video is the replay of that webinar. CCIE Collaboration in brief. Cisco 360 Learning Program for CCIE Collaboration is a complete, 360-degree blended learning program to accelerate competency and build the skills that are necessary for expert certification. While there are no formal prerequisites for CCIE certification (other professional certifications or training courses are not required), candidates must first pass a written qualification exam prior to taking the corresponding hands-on lab exam. There are 2 parts to the CCIE 360 Collaboration Exam. Step One: CCIE Collaboration Written Exam The exam will include topics such as Virtualization in UC Solutions, IPv6, ILS/URI Dialing, SAF/CCD, Medianet, and Cisco Jabber. You must pass the two-hour, written qualification exam covering those technologies and applications that comprise a Cisco Enterprise Collaboration solution before you are eligible to schedule the lab exam. Step Two: CCIE Collaboration Lab Exam The eight-hour lab exam tests your ability to get the collaboration solution operating in a timed test situation. If YOU are ready to get started, NetCertExpert is offering one of the first training programs on Cisco 360 CCIE Collaboration.
